DBE is a non-profit, non-political organization and membership is extended by invitation to women residing in the U.S. who are of British or British Commonwealth heritage by birth, naturalization, marriage, or ancestry.

Membership

If you enjoy good company, fun and laughter, along with the opportunity to support your community, we welcome you to join us.  We organize our work, “the cause,” at regular monthly chapter meetings. Some new members choose a chapter based on location or the convenience of meeting times – weekend, evening, or daytime – others gravitate to the group where they feel most at home.

The women of DBE raise funds to support local charities and the British Home in California through fund raisers such as the incredibly popular Victorian Tea and other events. Over the years, we’ve made and sold cookbooks, calendars, tote bags and of course, the British and Commonwealth baked goods that have customers queuing around the block.

We enjoy outings to gardens, museums, historic houses, and other places of interest in Colorado. Across the years, our state and chapter members have explored British pubs and English tearooms up and down the Front Range. Do you know one we haven’t heard about? Do tell us!

Interested in joining? Let us hear from you.
